History:
Stover manufacture kerosene and gasoline powered stationary engines from 1895 to 1941 for use on the American farm. In that time Stover made more than 277,000 engines of various sizes and uses. Stover licensed some of the designs to Sears, Roebuck and Co. under the Economy trademark. Unfortunately we do not know the history of this engine.
