History:
Bolinder started with oil engines in about 1894. By 1918, over 600,000 bhp had been sold in various engine types and configurations, making Bolinder one of the leading engine makers in Europe. The engine above was introduced in 1925 and was used in boats and barges as the main engine.  The governor on this engine is of the 'hit and miss' type, rather than continuous fuel flow control.
